Recognition

The AI can recognize and structure data from the conversation and update the right-hand panel of the ticket. For how it works in general, see AI overview.

What it recognizes

Vehicles

  • license plate
  • VIN (chassis)
  • make and model
  • year
  • engine code
  • other typical registration booklet data

Spare parts

  • part name normalized in Italian, even if the customer writes in another language or with abbreviations (e.g. f olio, pf, fab)
  • codes: OE, aftermarket, EAN
  • position and quantity

“Plate only” or “code only” messages

A message with only a plate or only a code is never treated as empty:

  • the plate creates or completes the vehicle
  • the code completes a pending request or creates a new one

Labels on each spare part

Each row in the box can show the information the customer gave for that specific part:

  • Quote / Order
  • position
  • quantity
  • condition (new, used, remanufactured)
  • quality (original, equivalent)
  • preferred brands (★)
  • crossed-out exclusions (e.g. “not Brembo”)
  • deadline (e.g. “by Friday”, “for tomorrow”)
  • Urgent
  • issues and diagnostic codes (e.g. P0401)
  • delivery or pickup (e.g. “I’ll come by”)

Labels apply only to the part the customer refers to: they are not copied automatically onto other parts.

Details on the box: AI panel and corrections.

Behavior with undecided or distracted customers

The AI updates, moves and removes vehicles and parts on the right by itself, following the conversation.

Typical examples:

  • a part written before the plate is moved onto the right vehicle when the plate arrives
  • “I no longer need the air filter” deletes only that filter
  • “not Brembo” becomes an exclusion
  • if the customer edits or deletes a WhatsApp message, the right panel follows
  • a code sent later completes a request without a code
  • a nameless request (bare code, label, photo) and the name given in another message, even days later, become one request
  • several photos of the same part → one request
  • “discs and pads” → two requests; “timing kit” → one request
  • if it is unclear which car is meant, the part stays under “No vehicle” with a warning, without guessing

What is never overwritten

  • what the operator edits by hand on the right is never overwritten by the AI
  • a deleted tab returns only if new parts arrive for that vehicle
  • parts discarded by the operator stay discarded

Internal notes and replies to the customer

Internal notes

An internal note is an order for the AI:

  • it is applied immediately (vehicle, parts, codes, deletions)
  • it gets its own box

Replies sent to the customer

A reply to the customer is only a proposal:

  • it does not change vehicles/parts until the customer confirms
(e.g. “ok”, “send”, quotes the reply or names the part)
  • the box under the confirmation links back to the original reply
  • “Ok send” after a price can set the Order label

Replies to previous requests

If the customer replies by quoting a message from a previous ticket:

  • the AI processes it in that ticket
  • in the currently open ticket only the link “Processed in another request” with “Go to request” appears

Automatic searches

Searches follow the rules in Settings → Automations (plate → VIN conversion, tree loading, parts search). Details in Automations.

Behavior with AI:

  • each request decides on its own when to search
  • codes search immediately by code
  • no duplicate search for the same text
  • requests without name and without code do not generate searches
  • a verified plate enriches the vehicle (make, model, VIN, engine code) and the AI takes that into account

Parts specialist glossary

The parts specialist glossary holds typical customer phrases and abbreviations, with the meaning valid for the room.

Example: “three filters” = oil filter, engine air filter, cabin filter.

  • the AI uses it as a dictionary
  • it does not rewrite the customer’s message
  • it replaces the old “disambiguations”
  • it is configured from the Qricambi backoffice

From the vehicle tab to the message

On the right, clicking again the already selected vehicle tab scrolls the chat to the message from which the AI read that vehicle.
